Power Electronics Circuit Design

We use powerful simulation tools e.g. PLECS and LT spice  to design a broad range of power electronics applications. We start simulation on a device level using semiconductor physics based models, Once switching behaviour is fully comprehended, we start building system using reduce complexity behavioural model. Finally complete power electronics system along with its control system is tested for its stability.

Thermal Simulation 

Our thermal loss estimation starts with the very detailed device level modelling where one switching event is studied in detailed. The loss detail is then applied to the system level to evaluate the heatsink. The heatsink is then selected based on the required thermal performance and the budget.

PCB & Power PCB Design 

We believe that the most cost effective way to design a power electronics system up to 75kW is by using a Power PCB based design instead of using stacks and busbars. We have very precise simulation tools which can estimate the parasitic inductance and resistance of the Power PCB tracks. Keeping everything on the PCB i.e. control and gate drives and makes the circuit more compact and elegant.
